Two companies
Lisbon, Five Nights
The lowest figure here, and the trip most people could book alone. We quote it anyway, and if the answer is that you should do it yourself, that is what you will be told.
| The company | What it owes you | Its own rule if you cancel | What happens if it fails |
|---|---|---|---|
| The airline | Seats and bags out and back, usually with one connection from Charleston | Fare rules. The least costly are neither refundable nor changeable, and that is stated in your proposal rather than buried | Rebooking under their conditions, which does not release the hotel |
| The hotel | Five nights in the room grade quoted, with breakfast if the rate includes it, which we confirm rather than assume | Frequently cancellable within a few days, which makes it the most forgiving contract on this sheet | A closed hotel rehouses you nearby at its own cost. It is uncommon and it is their obligation |
Why the transfer is not in here
It would be a third company and it is not worth one. The metro from the airport runs into the middle of the city for the price of a coffee, and a taxi at a posted rate takes about twenty minutes. Adding a private transfer would put a line on your invoice and a company on your itinerary for something the city already does well.
Where a transfer IS worth buying, on other trips, this site says so on the trip itself.
from$890per person, two sharing, land only
Split across two companies. What each of them charges, and what none of them charges, is on prices. The figure is confirmed in writing before anything is placed.
What five nights actually gives you
Four full days. Arrival day is a travel day whatever the schedule says, and an itinerary that pretends otherwise was written by somebody who has not done it.
