Each thing you tell us, traced from the box it arrives in, through the companies it reaches, to the day it is deleted. Nine things, and that is all of them.

Each thing, and the route it takes
| What | Enters at | Reaches | Deleted |
|---|---|---|---|
| Your name | the enquiry form, or a mail you send | this desk, then each operating company that has to issue a document in your name, and no other | two years if it never becomes a booking; seven if it does, because tax records require it |
| Your email | the enquiry form | this desk only. Never passed to an operating company; they get a booking, not a mailing list | the same |
| Your telephone | the enquiry form, optional | this desk only, and used only if writing cannot settle something | the same |
| Roughly when you want to go | the enquiry form | this desk, then any company we ask for a figure | the same |
| Who is travelling, with ages | the enquiry form | this desk, then the companies, because ages change a room and sometimes a fare | the same |
| A figure not to pass | the enquiry form | this desk only, and it stops here. Sending it onward would be negotiating against you | the same |
| Which tier you want | the enquiry form | this desk, to decide what to price | the same |
| Traveler details for a booking | after you decide, by mail | only the companies that require them, and only the fields each one requires | seven years with the booking |
| The filing note | a box you cannot see and cannot fill in | nowhere. Anything appearing in it was typed by software, and that message goes in the bin unopened | immediately |
| The one stored word | your own browser, if you agree | nowhere. It leaves no trace here and contains no identifier | when you clear your browser storage, or at once if you decline |
What no box on this site collects
- A card number
- not one page has such a field on it, and money never changes hands at this desk
- A password
- nothing here has a login, so there is nothing for one to open
- No social security number
- this desk does not ask for a social security number, does not want one, and hands it straight back if offered
- A passport scan
- only when a specific named company demands one, sent by mail, and the reason arrives before the request does
- A date of birth
- once a booking is decided on, and then only where a carrier insists
Checking it rather than believing it
- Search any page source for cc-number
- nothing
- Search for type="password"
- nothing
- Scripts fetched by any page
- two on most pages and three on the front, every one of them from this domain
- Files the front page reads while you type
- one, the sheet of airport codes, also from this domain
- Third party requests before you press a button
- none. Open the network panel in your own browser; that is the entire proof
- Analytics
- none of any kind. No visit is tallied, no returning reader is spotted, no profile is assembled
- Server logs
- the standard ones every host writes. Nothing you send is ever matched against them
The fare lookup on the front page
The front page carries a lookup for fares, and a booking service that is not this company runs it, on a subdomain of this address. Its button carries you across to them.
- What the line holds
- the two codes you took from the offers, the day and month outbound, the same again for the way back where there is one, a single letter for the cabin, and three tallies: seated adults, seated children, infants held
- What the line cannot hold
- anything that identifies you. This lookup never asks who you are, so there is nothing of that kind for it to carry
- Where the codes are read from
- a sheet served by this domain and opened by your own browser as you type
- The first moment anything leaves at all
- the press of the button. Not one keystroke before it
- What the enquiry form contributes to it
- nothing whatever. The two are strangers and neither can see the other
- Whose notice applies once you have crossed
- the booking service's own. The booking sits with them, the payment sits with them, and this office is party to neither
What the fare lookup does sets the same thing out at length, including everything the lookup refuses before a single request leaves your browser.
Three requests
- A copy of everything held about you
- by mail within thirty days, at no charge
- A correction, or removal
- carried out, unless a booking or a tax record has to survive, in which case you are told which one and on what grounds
- An end to contact
- stopped for good by a single line, with no reason asked and no account to log into
Children
Nothing here is aimed at children and no box is meant to be filled in by one. Children travel on bookings we make; their details come from the adult arranging the trip, go only to the companies that must issue their documents, and are kept with the booking.
Any revision shifts the review date above, and anything substantive gets spelled out instead of slipping in unannounced.
