Rhine River, Seven Nights Afloat
Seven nights on the water with one company responsible for all of it. You unpack once and the towns come to you, which is the entire argument for the format and a good one.
| The company | What it owes you | Its own rule if you cancel | What happens if it fails |
|---|---|---|---|
| The river line | Seven nights in one cabin, all meals aboard including the days the ship is moving, a led walk at most stops, and every port charge and river tax. You see a deck plan with your cabin marked before you agree | Steps down by date, and after the balance date the returnable share falls fast. A cabin can sometimes be re graded rather than cancelled, which costs less, and we will price that before you decide | High or low water can force a stretch by coach or a swapped stop. The line is entitled to do that, it is in their conditions, and we will show you the clause rather than let you find it |
The honest season note
Spring and late autumn. Mid summer brings heat, crowds and the least dependable water levels of the year, and the river is the one element on this trip outside anybody's hands.

Split across one company. What each of them charges, and what none of them charges, is on prices. The figure is confirmed in writing before anything is placed.
What the fare does not cover
